A minimum stay of 4 hours is required at this car park, and parking for 8 days costs approximately $270.63, though rates vary depending on when you book. This premium option includes exclusive gated access and undercover parking.
For a more flexible option, you can park on any level of the P7 car park and walk about 5 minutes to the terminal. This facility is located adjacent to Terminal 1, and levels 1 - 7 are undercover, while level 8 is open-air.
Undercover parking is not guaranteed upon arrival. Parking here is not cheap, as it is $75.31 per day or $602.50 for 1 week of parking. However, rates will always be cheaper when pre-booked online.
The most affordable parking option near Terminal 1 is Airport Express Sydney, offering shaded-sail-covered parking for $17.25 per day or $155 per week. Located just 9 minutes from T1, it provides a quick and budget-friendly alternative for international travellers.
While Blu Emu is often considered an affordable choice for Sydney Airport parking, it does not provide direct transfers to Terminal 1 - only to the domestic terminals (T2 & T3). If you park at Blu Emu, you’ll need to take a shuttle to T2 or T3 and then transfer to another bus for T1, resulting in a 20+ minute journey. At that point, Airport Express Sydney offers a much faster and more cost-effective solution.
