The P1 Prime Car Park is the closest to Terminal 2, a 2-minute walk away. However, the P2 & P3 car parks remain within a 6 - 7 minute walk of T2 and are significantly cheaper, at $495.20 for 1 week of parking at P3, and $602.40 for parking of 1 week at P2.
These car parks are available to be booked, both online and in-person, on your day of departure.
If you plan to book online, you can access the car parks by scanning your QR code or credit card used to make the booking at the entry gate. If you don't plan to pre-book, simply take a ticket upon entry to the car park, and pay for it upon exit. Payments with any credit or debit card will incur a transaction fee.

The closest car park to Terminal 3 is the P1 Prime Car Park, a 3-minute walk away, and costs $816 for 1 week of parking. The P1 car park is a fully open-air facility and is newly renovated.

The most affordable parking option servicing Terminal 3 at Sydney Airport is Airport Express Sydney, offering shade-sail-covered parking for $155 per week. Located just 7-minutes from Terminal 3 the service includes drop-off and pickup directly at the terminal between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. daily.
The second most affordable option is the Blu Emu Car Park, an uncovered facility situated 15 minutes away from T3 via shuttle. A week of parking here costs $189.30. There is both shaded and unshaded parking available at this car park. Parking with Blu Emu means you have to wait or queue for the shuttle, as it runs on a timetable.

Yes, travellers can park for free for up to 15 minutes at the Express Pick-Up Zone and for one hour at the Blu Emu Car Park. However, while the Express Pick-Up Zone allows free parking for 15 minutes, many travellers have reported that this time is too short to pick someone up without incurring a charge. Even staying a minute past the 15-minute mark can result in a fine. Additionally, you’re allowed only one free entry per calendar day for both car parks.
To avoid any fines, we recommend parking in the Blu Emu Car Park until your passenger has exited baggage claim, and then arranging to meet them at the Express Pick-Up Zone. Alternatively, you can tell your passenger to take the free shuttle bus from the T2 or T3 terminal to the Blu Emu Car Park, where you can park for free for 1 hour.
