Newcastle Airport offers four official on-site car parks: the Short Stay, Long Stay Saver, Long Stay Car Park, and the Premium Car Park. If you want to park as close as possible to the terminal and don’t mind paying a little extra to do so, there are five on-site car parks to choose from. These include the Short Stay Car Park, Long Stay Car Park, Long Stay Saver, and Premium Car Park, which are outlined in more detail below. While these options are more expensive than off-site car parks, they do allow you to park your car and be in line for airport security within minutes. Because on-site car parks are within walking distance of the terminals, there are no shuttle services available for any airport car park listed below.
If you do choose to park at these car parks, please note that you can not make a pre-booked, online reservation - you must pay upon arrival or return at the car park(s). Due to this, you can not secure a parking spot pre-arrival and will therefore incur drive-up rates at all official airport parking locations. To ensure availability, then, we recommend contacting the car park via telephone 30 minutes to an hour before your airport arrival time to check for ample car park availability.
Arrival: You simply drive to the car park. On arrival, you may pay for your parking space at a payment station inside the terminal with cash or credit card. You may also pay upon exit - in this case, refer to the 'Return' section below.
Return: You walk back to the car park, get in your car and drive up to the boom gate towards the 'Exit' sign. If you haven't already paid upon entry, you may do so at the boom gate with a credit card. If you are paying with a credit card, processing fees will apply.
The Long Stay Saver Car Park offers budget-conscious, 24/7 CCTV-monitored parking, and is an excellent option for those looking for long-term parking at Newcastle Airport. While no undercover parking is available at this car park, it is only a short walk (600 metres) from the airport and is open to meet all flights daily.
