Air Travel Parking Melbourne Airport

Horrendous customer service! Never again AVOID THIS SHADY COMPANY! We had to leave Gold Coast early due to Cyclone Alfred. We were due back Wednesday 5/3/25. I rang Airport Travel mobile Monday 3/3/25 after successfully changing our flights. Their hours are 5am-11pm however due to extenuating circumstances I rang with plenty of notice to advise the only earlier flight we could get was Tuesday 4/3/25 leaving 9.10pm arriving 12.05am in Melbourne. I conveyed this to the male that answered the phone. He told me to send him a text of this information so “he wouldn’t forget” I txtd the information as per telephone conversation as he requested. Tuesday evening I txtd again (8.30 Qld time, 9.30 Melb time) before I boarded the plane,, to advise we were boarding. We arrive in Melb, go to the waiting area - no show. Ring the phone number, no answer. Waited 40 minutes before having to ring an uber which cost us $150 because we were stranded at the airport. Very angry I sent a txt. Phone call the next morning ended in a heated arguement. The male driver denied receiving my message on the 3/3/25 that he requested yet I have them on my phone. Then he acknowledged receiving my message Tuesday 4/3/25 at 9.30 Melb time and the excuse for not responding was that I was on a plane. no I wasn’t it was 8.30 in Qld my flight was at 9.10pm and even so had he have responded I wouldn’t have hung around for 40 minutes for a ride that was never going to come. He also denied that I told him my flight would be arriving at 12.05pm. Why would I send a follow up txt (at his request) reiterating the information I gave to him over the phone if I didn’t say it in the first place🙄 long and the short, he forgot, wouldn’t take responsibility for his mistake then tried to cover his ar$e by denying he received my txt on Monday 3/3/25. He then asked what outcome I expected to which I replied, compensation for my uber expenses because of his incompetence and no doubt I’ll have to get another uber to get out there and get mine and my daughters cars, to which he responded “well how else do you think it’s going to go?” “Do you expect me to to reimburse you out of my own pocket” like wtf🤷‍♂️ how unprofessional. So a total of $200 odd dollars in uber expenses because of these clowns🤬 they’re unprofessional, then lie to avoid accountability for their mistakes. My daughter sent a complaint to info@airportparking.com.au and with an unsatisfactory response she advised them she’d be leaving a negative review and the response she got was: “That’s ok the mistake was yours and i will respond to the review and embarrass you” (I cut and pasted that snippet from the email my daughter received) see attached pic.Horrendous experience, foul humans to deal with. The place is a dingey dirt bowl run by bogans🤬
