Each outdoor car park, known as Canberra Airport's Red Car Park and Yellow Car Park, offers 450 parking spaces each, providing ample room for all travellers. These parks offer weekend and long-stay parking specials, like the weekend special, in which travellers can park after 3 p.m. on Friday until before close on Sunday for just $45.00.

Whether you're parking at Canberra Airport's Red Car Park or Yellow Car Park, the process is straightforward, as only drive-up bookings are accepted. Follow the procedure below:
Upon entering the car parks, please take a ticket or tap your credit card. Payment can be made using cash or credit card at the pay stations, or by credit card only at the exit gates.
The car parks close 30 minutes after the last flight arrival and re-open each morning at 4:00 am. For any assistance, please contact the customer service team at 02 6275 2226.

Drive-up rates at the CBR Red & Yellow Car Parks are the same. For the first 10 minutes, parking is free. After that, rates start at $2.00 for 11 - 20 minutes, $4.00 for 41 - 60 minutes, $8.50 for 2 - 3 hours, $15.50 for 4 - 5 hours, $29.50 for 1 day, $88.00 for 3 days, $135.00 for 5 days, $165.00 for 8 days, and $5.00 for each day thereafter.
Two specials run at these car parks - the Weekend Special & the 6-Week Special. The weekend special is $45.00 for those who park at one of the two outdoor carks after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, and leave before close on Sunday.
