Canberra Airport offers three official car parks: an Indoor Car Park, an Outdoor Car Park, and an Express Car Park. The Indoor and Outdoor options each include two lots, providing ample parking choices. The Express Car Park, located within the Indoor Car Park, is exclusively for short-term parking.

You’ll find the Indoor Car Park, Outdoor Car Park and Express Car Park close to the main airport building. Not only are these car parks convenient in terms of location, but affordably priced for long term parking, as well as short weekend trips. There are two car parks located within the Outdoor Car Park, they are differentiated by the colours yellow and red on the airport’s parking map.
Similarly, the Indoor Car Park has two multi-level car parks, differentiated by the colours blue and green on the airport’s parking map.
Online bookings are not required for Canberra Airport parking, you can simply drive up to the car park of your choice on the day of your flight and pay the drive-up rates detailed below.

Arrival: You simply drive to the car park. On arrival, take a ticket or tap your credit card at the entry gate of your chosen car park. If you want to pay by cash, you may do so only at the pay station. If you tapped your credit card upon entering the park, you must exit the car park by using the same credit card.
Return: You walk back to the car park, get in your car and leave the car park using the same credit card you entered with. Visit the pay station if you plan to pay your ticket by cash.
The Uncovered Car Park at Canberra Airport features two sections, marked in red and yellow, both located next to Terminal Avenue. The red car park includes a free pick-up and drop-off area for the first 10 minutes. With over 865 spots, these car parks offer excellent rates for both short and long-term parking.
Currently, you can benefit from two special offers. The "Weekend Special" allows parking from 3 pm on Friday to the last flight on Sunday for just $45. The "Long Stay Special" offers up to 6 weeks of parking for $250, with a $5 daily charge after 6 weeks. These rates are among the best at Canberra Airport.

The Indoor Car Park at Canberra Airport is ideal for those seeking parking as close to the terminals as possible. With two multi-level options adjacent to Terminal Avenue, you'll have direct access to the arrivals and departures halls.
The car parks are marked blue and green on the airport's parking map. The green car park includes express pick-up, a ride-share waiting lounge, and a customer service desk on the ground floor. The blue car park features rental car parking and a bicycle rack. Both are equally close to the terminal and next to the passenger pick-up and drop-off areas.
For convenience and great Canberra airport parking rates, choose the indoor car park. Starting at $40.00 for 24 hours, you’ll have access to over 1,000 parking spaces with an advanced guidance system, making it easy to find an available spot quickly.
The Express Car Park, located in the green indoor car park, is just a 20-metre covered walk from the terminal, making it perfect for picking up or dropping off passengers.
Drivers can scan their credit card at the entry gate and use the same card at the exit. For cash payments, take a ticket at the entry gate and pay at the machine before exiting.
Passengers waiting for pick-up can use the Express Pick-Up Lounge. While not ideal for long-term parking, rates start at $7 for 1 hour and $180 for 4 days, with a $16 daily charge thereafter.
Unfortunately, there is no valet parking at Canberra Airport at present.
