The P9 Car Park at Sydney Airport serves as a convenient public pick-up zone for travellers arriving at Terminal 1, the International Terminal.
Located just a 2-5 minute walk from T1, it’s ideal for quick and easy departures. While online bookings are not available for P9, the first 15 minutes of parking are free, with a one-time entry. For longer stays, you will be charged according to express pick-up rates.

The entrance to the car park is off Centre Road. Drive up to the car park, and park your car in any available bay. Drivers can park their car within the facility for 15 minutes max. After that, travellers can venture to the P7 Car Park for longer stays. License plate technology is in place at this car park, and will recognise the time in which you leave the car park, and if you over-stay the 15-minute grace period, additional charges will apply. The driver must remain with the vehicle at all times.
As a general guideline, drivers picking up passengers should plan to arrive about 30 minutes after your passenger’s scheduled landing time. It can take a while for them to disembark, collect baggage, and reach the Public Pick-up zone. To minimize waiting time, consider having them call when they’re ready for pick-up

If you exit the car park, even within the free period, and then re-enter, a fee will apply. After the initial 15 minutes, rates are $11.80 for 15 - 30 minutes, $23.60 for 30 - 60 minutes, and $33.30 for 1 - 2 hours. At 3 - 24 hours, rates will be $75.30, and for every day thereafter, a rate of $75.30 will apply.
This car park is not designed for long-term parking durations, for that we recommend the P7 Car Park or another Sydney Airport parking.
